Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! It’s looking like I’m going to fall short of my SimNaWriMo goal of seven updates in October, but I CAN STILL TRY. This is update number four for the contest, so maybe – just maybe – I can crap out a total of seven updates by Monday.
This time we’re picking up with Elaine’s teen birthday – yup, Elaine, and NOT Mabel as I believe I said at the end of last chapter, I’ve changed it and that’ll teach me to never crap out an update before work again – and it looks like we have some party planning happening.
“We need to have a party, Callie. She’s our oldest daughter! She’s not our little girl anymore!”
“Hmm? Do whatever you want, Puzzle. I’m just enjoying my food!”
“Good job, Hector! You’re getting so big. Soon Mommy’s not going to be able to pick you up!”
“Aww, relax buddy. That won’t be for a while!”
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! It’s been far too long, but I’ve been planning this next series of updates for a while. Over at Boolprop, we started a month-long story writing contest dubbed SimNaWriMo – the gist of it is that you try to update your Sims story as many times as possible in October. I’m going for either the bronze prize (3 updates) or the silver prize (7 updates), as I have around 7-8 updates left before this generation is over! I figured this competition would be a good kick in the pants to get me updating again, and if it sounds like something you might be interested in, you can check it out over here.
Last time everyone partied, Heimrich got stuck with all the childcare despite disliking children, and Natalie and Puzzle had their second child, a daughter named Elaine.
“Eeeee I’m married! I still can’t believe this is real!”
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! I’m trying to jump back on to the updating wagon, so here is Chapter 4.4. Last time Heimrich had to win over Griselda, there was a burglar, and Callie and Heimrich got married!
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! Okay, so there was kind of a month-long hiatus, but I swear it was for a very, very good reason. See, I was off scrambling to finish the last bits of my degree, then celebrating a lot because I am finally, finally finished my MA! And now I have FREE TIME and I can DO NOTHING without feeling guilty for the first time since…well, basically since I was in high school. After finishing up I’ve basically been playing other video games (like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon), watching sports (hockey is back, and my boyfriend has been watching lots of baseball because of the Blue Jays), eating lots of leftover Thanksgiving turkey, and avoiding the horror known as job hunting. Writing hasn’t seemed appealing to me, even if it’s silly legacy writing, because I spent a long time writing serious academic things, and my brain is kind of burned out now. Womp. Anyway I figured a legacy update was long overdue, so here we are!
Last time Callie and Heimrich the bouncer got engaged, then he finally moved into the legacy house. This update starts will Callie going back to bed, because she is not a morning person. (Much like me.)
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! Yes, I am updating again after…oh, it’s only been about a week. Well, I have some precious downtime once again, so that means it’s time to sit on my patio, drink a beer, and craft an update! Last time, the triplets aged into Young Adults, graduated, and the family moved to Bridgeport where the girls will start off their new adventures as adults…..on an empty lot…
Well, this certainly won’t do.
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! It’s time for the final update of Generation 3, as next update Callie will be taking over for Generation 4. This update will be a little bit shorter than usual, since we’re just going to be tying up some loose ends in Riverview before the Scatterdays move to their new world. Which world? Keep reading and find out!
(I had to have an update 3.14 because of pi, obviously. Getting all mathematical up in here!)
Another chapter already? This is unheard of for me! I’m just trying to take advantage of having free time for a few days. Anyway, welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy. Last time Zhan died, the girls had their prom, and Callie had to ditch her romantic interest from said prom because he looked too much like Angelo.
This time, we’re starting out with a big accomplishment! See that skill bar above Griselda’s head?
Hello friends, and welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! Last time the Generation 4 girls adjusted to teenagerhood and, sadly, Auden died. She had a long, happy, grumpy life, but it’s still sad. 😦 Let’s start this (long) update on a happier note, and laugh at Angelo getting hit with the shower dye!
“Why isn’t my beard pink?”
I don’t know. Ah, Sims logic, such a beautiful thing.
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! It’s a humid as hell Saturday night, I’m full of delicious pasta, my boyfriend is having bro-time with one of his friends, and I’m drinking a beer while listening to the new Tame Impala album, so obviously it’s UPDATE TIME. I also changed up the blog’s theme, so hopefully pictures are a little bit bigger. My old theme was adorable, but I didn’t realize how it messed with picture size and stuff…even though I used it for like two and a half years. >_> OH WELL.
Last time the triplets grew into teenagers, Griselda and Angelo went through midlife crises, and Callie was chosen as heiress.
This time we’re starting off with Auden and Frankie working on creative projects. Frankie started a novel called Battle Gnomes in her childhood, so she’s going to finish that off, while Auden is painting for some money.
“Raaaaawr! I’m going to eat you because I’m a mean dinosaur!”
“Oh no! I don’t want to be eaten! Can you just eat my hand instead?”
“Well….I guess I’ll start with it.”
Welcome back to the Scatterday Matriarchy! I’ve been on a Sims binge and it feels good, man. Of course, now that I have binge-played I need to catch up with posting incredibly old pictures here, so let’s get to it! Continue reading
